The mission of Arden Shore Child and Family Services is to rebuild children’s lives in a caring community.

Founded in 1898 by members of the Glencoe Congregational Church, Arden Shore began as a summer respite camp on the shores of Lake Michigan in Lake Bluff for Chicago’s impoverished mothers and children. Over the years the focus has changed but the driving force has always been the commitment to meet the needs of children and their families.

Today, the agency promotes the health and well-being of children and families within a diverse populations in Lake County, Illinois.
