Make a home a place where everyone can thrive.
What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is a global giving movement that has been built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities in all 50 states and in countries around the world. Giving Tuesday demonstrates how every act of generosity counts, and that they mean even more when we give together.
How can you participate in Giving Tuesday?
Donate, spread the word, and build awareness about Giving Tuesday! Giving Tuesday harnesses the collective power of a unique blend of partners to transform how people think about, talk about, and participate in the giving season. It inspires people to take collective action to improve their communities, give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they believe in, and help create a better world. Help giving grow!
How can your business participate in Giving Tuesday?
There are a number of ways your business can get involved this year. Here are a few ideas, but please feel welcome to come up with your own, unique idea! All donations will help Rebuild Children’s Lives throughout our community.
* Collect donations at your locations
* Organize an employee fundraiser
* Donate a percentage of sales
* Ask patrons to round up their transactions
Spread the word! If your business would like to participate, Arden Shore will provide materials to help you publicize your participation in this global day of giving. Arden Shore Child and Family Services will be proud to share your fundraiser across our network of families, businesses, and community leaders throughout Lake, Cook, and McHenry Counties.
For every new dollar donated by an individual from November 26 through December 10, HFNLC will match it dollar for dollar up to $10,000! That means if you’ve never given before or if you increase your gift, this is a chance for your donation to go twice as far toward improving the lives of children and families throughout our community.
The Healthcare Foundation of Northern Lake County supports efforts that improve access to health services for under-served Lake County, Illinois, residents.
