Arden Shore Child & Family Services is honored to be recognized by the Healthcare Foundation of Northern Lake County (HFNLC) with the Excellence in Service Award for its leadership and dedication to healthcare access and health equity.
In celebration of HFNLC’s 15th anniversary, the foundation awarded 15 grants to organizations that expanded, added, or creatively adjusted programming beyond what was expected to address healthcare access needs or health equity issues during the COVID-19 pandemic.
HFNLC supports efforts that improve access to health services for underserved Lake County, Illinois, residents. The Foundation strives to improve the health status of uninsured, underinsured, and medically underserved residents and are especially interested in addressing gaps in health services; increasing the capacity of effective organizations and programs; and fostering innovative solutions to persistent healthcare access problems.
The significant community investments made by HFNLC over the past 15 years, coupled with Arden Shore’s dedicated staff and community of support, makes it possible to provide effective and responsive behavioral health care to children and adults in need while growing the local behavioral health workforce.
While Mental Health Awareness Month has officially come to a close, the mental health of our children and families continues to matter everyday. If you or someone you care for is in need of support, please contact Arden Shore at (847) 623-1730.
