The past three months have been a challenging time for our nation, our clients, our supporters, and our employees. We, as a nation, have struggled with how to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and, most recently, the tragic murder of George Floyd. We are acutely aware that the families we serve, and the children we are committed to protecting, have been under incredible stress due to factors that are largely out of their control. While many in our communities, and families, have experienced horrible hardships and challenges over this time, perhaps the most tragic situation is the suffering of the most innocent; the children we serve have suffered tremendously. Unfortunately, but not unexpectedly, incidences of child abuse and domestic abuse have increased.
Arden Shore has served countless groups of those in need for over 100 years; we hope that we will continue to be a source of comfort and care for all who are in need. To that end, we are grateful to announce that our offices will be opening on a limited basis for employees this Monday, June 8th. We have been closed to all but essential administrative personnel since March 12th.
To our nation, our community, and our families we wish you hope, comfort, safety, and peace; to our supporters and staff, we thank you for all you do and applaud your efforts to improve the lives of all!
